The day was developed to give the students time to reflect on their assignment goals and to work on practical projects and exercises, dictated by their individual needs and time plan.

A massive thank you to all the staff who have made this event possible. I've really enjoyed the week, I'm walking away from here with two Distinctions and a merit, instead of two passes and a referral!

Never thought I'd be coming back for the fourth time, but it has definitely been worth it. Being assessed in a practical way has definitely helped me get my grades up because sometimes I struggle with coursework. It's also brought the groups back together. Before we came it was like we were all strangers but now we're back as a team. Because of the Linnet experience, I will start enjoying college again everyone is now closer and I'm not behind in my coursework anymore. So thank you to all the staff who sorted it out, and to all the other students for giving us a amazing week.

This past week has been something special to a lot of us, not only have we got a lot of our assignment work done and old work upgraded, but all worked hard to build the Go Cart track. Something that I never thought I would be taking part in. It has been a privilege to work with the rest of the group to make something of value for Linnet Clough.

Working with my friends in the Kitchen has been an experience in itself, not only making lots of yummy food for the group but learning new skills and gaining confidence. Something which i feel I have improved a lot since the first time I came here.

The whole group has got so much closer and we all feel that we can now start fresh back at college and end it in style.

As Me and Chloe said earlier - We came here as a team and Were gonna leave here as a better team.

On behalf of all of the team we want to say a big thank you to all the staff who have made this happen.

It has been a real experience and something that we will remember when we are achieving our goals in life.

P.S were glad to have our Hollie Parkin back with us x

I found that it was all round a good way to spend my time as i got a few grades up. Helped build the go cart track was a highlight as we all worked as a team to shift about 40+ ton of stones and digging. I have also gained more confidence also we got a lot more free time so we could just chill with a DVD and have a laugh
