Day 4: Assignment Closure Old and the New

Thursday: 20th January 2011

Today the students participated in a practical exercise which had been developed as an assessment tool for ongoing work as well as retrospectively completing or closing gaps within previous units. The day was long (07.30 to 18.30) but a true reflection of a public service day.

Amanda Said,

Whilst here at the Linnet Clough residential I have boosted or completed many of my assignments from both this and last year. This means that I now do not have many assignments left to complete.

I thoroughly enjoyed Linnet Clough, as it has brought the groups back together.

I would love to do something like this again, and thank all the staff for making this week possible and entertaining.

Cheers,

Amanda Turner

The years 2nd nationals needed this week, because as a group we were falling apart, this event has brought us all back together.

I would agree in saying that Linnet Clough phase 2 would be brilliant for the further years to come, working in this type of environment, you receive extra help from tutors, 1 to 1, which is really helpful when you need to up your grades.

I have boosted my grades from last year and completed some of this year's, which were is really helpful.

Again many thanks to all the staff for putting this event on, it was defiantly worth it and a great shout.
